Is the opposite of motion stillness? Is that a sickness in itself? Is it a stuckness?

Do you ever fall off the wagon (in life, in everything) and never want to get back on?

The air can get so hot and stagnant sometimes. Coming back to the garden feels like a dream, like breathing for the first time and never quenching.

I’ve been moving about like a brainless puppet-on-strings for years.

Even a mountain wobbles but we are human.

Slowly, sometimes, but always moving, whether every few weeks, months, days. That is human nature, to wander. We were given feet like tools. Some of us move more than others - chasing, seeking, like herds of sheep or birds.

I have fallen out of touch with what ‘still-ness’ or in my case living in one place longer than a year could feel like or mean.. and I’ve gotten so in sync with change I never want to fall out of it. But sometimes it can help to shake things up. There is so much magic in the world when we rest in it..
